The Czech theater company FysioART presented its production Pampeliška / Dandelion at the International Children's Theater Festival in Tel Aviv and was met with tremendous success. The performance was completely sold out, and although it is intended for the youngest audience members, it also won over their parents.
FysioART brought non-verbal, movement theater to Israel, which needs no words to open up space for imagination and joy. Through movement, clowning, and playing with objects, Dandelion created a magical garden full of yellow heads and white fluff on stage. In this poetic world, everything familiar is transformed into something new and surprising. Children and adults alike became part of a land where the dandelion sun alternates with a tousled marigold, where plants bloom, fly, spice, and let themselves be carried away by the wind.
The success of the Czech theater was all the more impressive given that the festival took place at a time when Israel was at war. In such a difficult context, Pampeliška brought not only a theatrical experience, but also a rare moment of respite, lightness, and hope. For a moment, the audience was transported to a world without worries – a space where joy, freedom, and poetry reign.
FysioART's participation was not only a cultural enrichment of the festival, but also a powerful symbol of how art can connect, bring comfort, and build bridges between people even in the most difficult moments.
