Art talk - Andrej Kalinka

Over the last month, we have had the honor of hosting the artist Andrej Kalinka as part of our international residency. This coming Thursday at 7pm, Andrej will open his studio for a performance and artist talk, where he will share insights from his practice during his residency at Artport.

With a rich career as a librettist, composer, and director, this time he has chosen not to work with actors, dancers, musicians, or performers, but instead with the materials around him in the studio. After many experiences with music, movement, and words, he is exploring and searching for the basics. The basics of time, movement, relationships and contexts, thinking, imagination, stories. You can watch and listen, or just listen, or plug your ears and just watch. You are welcome to join us, you can think, imagine, and create your own stories.
