Josef Fečo comes from a Roma musical family. Josef played the guitar since age 4, but his desire was to play the violin like his grandfather. He played it till 11, but then he became fascinated with cimbalom (dulcimer) and devoted his efforts to it. He became a member of a band led by his grandfather named (ROMALE AVEN JIVAS IMAR). He toured several prestigious festivals throughout Europe with the band. In 1994, he became a student of the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory, from which he graduated in 2000, majoring in double bass and bass guitar. Josef is now the most sought-after bassist in the Czech Republic, his musical interests include jazz, funk, pop, soul, and folk. Additionaly, he composes and arranges.
Martin Fečo was born into a family of musicians. His father is the well know Czech Kontrabast player Josef Fečo. Martin grew up not only with Jazz but also with traditional Roma folk music. As a 5-year-old, he started to play drums. Later he learned to play on guitar. At 16, he started to study percussion at the International Conservatory in Prague. During his studies, he participated in many projects with well known musicians. Currently he is a member of Josef Fečo Jazz Trio. Besides of that for the Omerta Records he plays modern roma music on guitar.
Drahoslav Bango is Slovak pianist, composer and producent. As young boy he attended the international Mozart competition Amadeus, where he recieved certificate of merit and an award for the youngest participant. After that he won the 1st place in the Dezider Kardoš competition in Slovakia. He studied at the state conservatory in Bratislava under professor Tatiana Lenková-Hurová. He continued his studies under professor Jiraský and Slavíková at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. Through his studies he participated in several competitions as: Novák's International Piano Competition, Danubia talents competition in Vienna or Liszt Ferenc Competition in Budapest.
