The performance of "The Silly Goose" will take place on 26.2.2025 at 5:00 pm at the Ginat TevaNature Museum Community Center, Mohaliver 6, Jerusalem. Performance in Czech and English language.
Lenka Sasínová is a teacher at the Primary School of Arts in Kroměříž and has been involved in puppet and amateur drama theatre in Uherský Brod for approximately 22 years. In addition, she travels all over the country with her performances under the name Fairy Tales from Lenka.
With her production Otesánek she won the award for individual performance with a puppet at the national puppetry festival Puppetry Chrudim. She not only sews her own puppets, but also makes them from unusual materials or carves them out of wood. She likes to invent mechanisms that bring the puppets to life and surprise the child viewer. In drama she has been awarded several times for the best acting performance, but she considers the joy of children and the satisfaction of the audience to be the most valuable.
Prior to the pandemic, she performed regularly at Buchlov Castle, where she gained a die-hard following of fans commuting from far and wide. Nowadays, she is dedicated to passing on the craft of acting to her pupils and organizes district and regional rounds of recitation competitions for children and youth (Dětská scéna, Wolkrův Prostějov). He not only teaches performance, but also judges throughout Moravia.
