Czech Centres have prepared wide range of programs and projects on the occasion of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union (CZ PRES).
With the motto Visions for Europe, there are 10 network projects that will be presented by the network of Czech cultural institutes (Czech Centres) around the world. These will be the backbone of the cultural programs offered during the next six months. The program was created with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and it will be realized in cooperation with the Czech foreign offices.
All projects relate to the future of Europe (therefore the motto "Visions for Europe") and they focus on three core values – creativity, innovation and sustainability.
Personalities who are involved in these projects, i.e. artists, intellectuals and others, meet in the project Visions for Europe. In short video statements, they introduce their own “Vision for Europe”: how can we, related to their area of expertise, move forward to our shared future.
