It can be assumed that many people outside the Czech Republic are familiar with the name Havel. But do they also know his texts? Have they read any of them?
The aim of the project READING HAVEL is to bring closer the key texts of Czechoslovakia's and the first Czech president Václav Havel who would this autumn celebrate his 85th birthday.
We approached prominent public figures who met Václav Havel and/or who are his supporters (whether in the Czech Republic or abroad) to read selected excerpts from his texts. READING HAVEL builds on the original concept of the Václav Havel Library, which has long been dedicated to making Václav Havel's work accessible.
Prominent guests in the project: Radka Denemarková, Taťána Gregor Brzobohatá / Tatiana Gregor Brzobohata, Aneta Langerová, Martha Issova, Pavel Fischer, #TomášHalík, Patrik Hábl, #AgniezskaHolland, Ewa Farna, Romano Prodi, #ProkopisPavlopoulos a další. V dalších týdnech budeme postupně zveřejňovat jednotlivá videa na sociálních sítích.
