After screenings in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the award-winning Czech film Occupation moved to the Haifa Cinematheque. The audience had the opportunity to talk about the film and its unusual plot with the director Michal Nohejl himself.
The screening of the Occupation in Haifa on August 17 was part of the Czech Film Week festival, which annually presents the best Czech films to Israeli audiences. This year, in addition to Occupation, the films are Bet on Friendship, and two comedies by director Miloš Forman: Firemen's Ball and Black Peter.
