Another successful edition of the European Night of Literature was held at the Liebling Haus in Tel Aviv on 14 December 2023. 10 powerful short stories from different European countries read by 4 not only well-known but also charismatic Israeli actresses charmed and touched the audience. All stories focused on the main motif of women’s empowerment and strong literary characters and presented the best of contemporary literature. Czechia was represented by Radka Denemarková and excerpt from her book "The History of Joy". As a cherry on top, the evening featured also 4 short animated movies and a live performance by the wonderful singer Folly Tree.
