Saturday 29th July was marked by a fairy tale, but not just any fairy tale. Radim Vizváry's Paperboy is a unique story that unleashes children's imagination. So this time not only adults but especially children came to the beautiful premises of the Suzanne Dellal Centre. Both performances of Radim Vizváry's Paperboy were sold out, so it is no wonder that children's laughter and screams echoed throughout the building. But when the show started, the audience didn't even whisper.
Radim Vizváry had prepared a spectacular show in which the main role was played by an ordinary roll of paper. Even that little was enough to win the attention of both children and adults in the audience. He used common material to create unique objects on stage and the audience watched his work in amazement. Radim could make children laugh in an instant, and when a thrilling scene appeared in the fairy tale, everyone in the audience held their breath.
But it wouldn't be the right fairy tale if it didn't have a happy ending. And so, at the very end, Radim Vizváry prepared a lovely surprise for the children's audience, inviting all the little visitors to join him on stage to experience for themselves how much fun they can have with an ordinary roll of paper.
We would also like to thank our partners Smartwings, Suzanne Dellal Centre and Mime Prague.
