On Friday 29 July, the opening of the Brno's Style exhibition took place at the Bauhaus Center Tel Aviv. The author of the displayed projects, Jiří Gerö, the curator and other organizers of the event prepared an afternoon full of functionalism for the visitors. The exhibition will run until 31 August.
In the renowned Bauhaus Center Gallery, 25 different projects can now be seen: detached and apartment buildings, industrial factories, sport facilities and school grounds. Brno born Jiří Gerö is a versatile architect in this respect, but there is one thing that all his works have in common - they represent the current trends in modernist architecture and their simplicity and purism are a continuation of Brno's functionalism from the 1930s.
