A week after the opening of Czech Film Week, we returned to Cinemateque in Tel Aviv to watch the last movie of this year's film festival. Monday's screening of Arvéd was attended by its director Vojtěch Mašek. The audience had a unique opportunity to have a discussion with him about the film and the life of Jiří Arvéd Smíchovský.
During the festival, other Czech films were also screened in Israeli cinemas, starting with the award-winning movie Il Boemo or the 1960s film The party and the Guests. The programme also included the classic Czech comedies The Good Soldier Shweik and Tank Battalion.
