The Tam Tam Batucada drum show is captivating, full of energy, colours, and emotions. Tam Tam Batucada draws mainly from Brazilian samba from the area of Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, but has a number of other rhythms in its repertoire. Musicians have often played on atypical, industrial instruments, such as bins, buckets, dishes, sanitary equipment, and a number of other objects, which be-come rhythmic instruments under the hands of drummers.
The orchestra is led by bandleader Miloš Vacík, who has studied rhythms with leading drummers and in samba schools all over the world - Brazil, Africa Europe. He also opened the first samba school in the Czech Republic in Prague - Samba Escola Praga.
The history of this orchestra is very diverse. Tam-Tam Batucada was established in 1999 and is celebrating 23 years this year. Today it has hundreds of performances, concerts, events, the opening of large shopping malls, winter and summer stadiums, complexes, the opening of the O2 Arena, Prague's Golden Angel, the Premier League in Prague ( Chelsea - Bayern Munich), the Under-21 World Championships years, EXPO 2010 in China in Shanghai, at EXPO 2015 in Milan, Italy and on many other sporting events (International Marathons, World Basketball Championship, World Winter Sports Championships, etc.) The orchestra performed worldwide from Egypt, Monaco, Italy, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, China…
Israeli drummers Yael Sharoni, Itai Reznik, Michal Daaboule and Shiran Agison will joint the orchestra in the performance in Tel Aviv.
